The hotel is located in a beautiful spot with easy access to the town's attractions. Guests can enjoy the comfort of the traditional Japanese room decorated nicely with several free perks such as Yukatas. the staff is very friendly and attentive. the hotel offers a delicious dinner with different courses of traditional Japanese food. There is a 24h Onsen with clean facilities and several baths.
Public spaces are heated a bit too much, which may cause some discomfort for some guests.

I loved the spacious and well-decorated room and the convenience of 24-hour access to the onsen. The traditional Japanese dinner with multiple courses was absolutely delicious. The hotel staff was friendly and made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. Plus, the location was fantastic, offering easy access to transportation and some of the best sights in this city.
Nothing I didn't like to be fair.

This hotel is a luxurious and beautiful venue located in the heart of Kotohira. the room I stayed in was stunningly decorated, spacious, and comfortable. I enjoyed the exquisite exclusive amenities such as the yukata, and the private facilities added a touch of exclusivity. the restaurant served the most delicious traditional Japanese dishes, and the numerous small portion meals are worth trying.
One minor issue was the heated temperature in some of the public spaces, which was too high for my liking. Though the room temperature was adjustable, the same consideration wasn't given to the public spaces.

I spent my Easter weekend at a Japanese hotel, and I have to say I loved the location of it! It was in the heart of a beautiful place where wandering around was such a pleasure. The hotel itself was gorgeous, and I really enjoyed the large well-decorated room and the beautiful yukata they lent to all of their guests. The dinner was also a treat, with so much delicious food to try that I felt like I had sampled all of the traditional Japanese dishes that I came to Japan to try!
There were a couple of things about the hotel that I found to be quite uncomfortable. the public spaces were just too hot - I really struggled with the temperature there.

Dinner was a delicious and traditional Japanese meal with different dishes to try. the onsen was available 24/7 and very clean, offering multiple baths.
The public spaces were too hot and could be less warm. the onsen felt small with only one indoor and two small outdoor pools.
